The Republican Debate " Let Him Die ?"

In the Republican debate of 9/12/11 a question was asked about someone
who might be very sick and have no insurance.

The audience yelled out, let him die, and there was a loud applause.

These people who claim to be Christians should read Christs words in Matthew.

Heal the sick, freely you have been given, now freely give.

No love and compassion for others - probably none for self.
Go inward for Love and Heart and they surely will flow outward.

Unfortunately, the majority of Republicans who lay claim to being Christian...wouldn't stop to offer a dying man a cup of water--so it's certainly no surprise that the "Let him die" outburst got a round of applause from the other so-called 'Christians' in the room. People of this mind-set have absolutely no compassion for the sick, the elderly, the poor, and the disenfranchised in our society and world. They don't live or model their lives around the teachings of Jesus--let's get real. The only thing that matters to them is that you think and act the same as they do--which means in order to gain their acceptance and approval you must be affluent, straight, preferably white, Republican and harbor no tolerance for anyone or any thing outside of those impenetrable parameters. They will also proudly justify their position by taking out their Bible and referring to some misinterpreted passage with a look of utter self-righteousness and satisfaction.

Eloquently stated Phyllis and I totally agree. I offer this quote by a collective of Ascended Masters know as Abraham "Your world is pointing toward an insistence on conformity which is causing you enormous grief. It's what's at the heart of all of your religious battles, and religious battles are what are at the heart of all of your battles. In other words, all of your wars and global irritation with one another are over your determination to promote sameness. Your democracy insists that it's the only government that works. And every religion (it's interesting to note) proclaims that it is the only one that works."

This is very sad commentary. True blessings come from seeing ourselves as we are. "Love your neighbor as your self" No self love here or any real love; love of Money??

I go out to heal the sick and most just want to stay sick. Many people made themselves sick by what they eat. The rest of the sick became sick because of how they think. It's in the Skull as you well know Bill.

It is a delusion to think that one part of the corporation (government) is any different than the other part. That is part of the dog and pony show that is endless. Once you see the truth behind the bible you stop looking at it the same way you always looked at it. The same needs to be done for the government. Once that is done all else becomes clear.
("Your democracy insists that it's the only government that works.")
If we were using the form of government the the nation started with a republic then that statement about the government would be true. But we have all been feed the democracy B.S. and believe it. That Mark Twin quote would go good here.
Respect all!

They say "Let Him Die", until it is THEY who are lying on their Death Bed, then it's a different story! Oh Please help me, Save me!

Funny how religious people get when they (their ego) is facing death!

Do unto others... means "Treat people the way you want to be treated! I guess those shouting "Let Him Die" must want to die themselves.

Have you ever risked your own life trying to save someone else? I have! I'd rather die trying to save someone else than to have someone else die trying to save me.

I don't have a Google account nor do I wish to have one, but I am "no-self"
