In the time of Jesus under Roman Law which Jerusalem was subject to, there were people called Eunuchs.

There were two types covered under the law.

There was the castrated Eunuch and the Natural Eunuch.

The Natural Eunuch was a male physically normal in every way but not interested in women in marriage.

The Natural Eunuch was covered under the law with full rights and was able to marry and adopt children.

The Natural Eunuch was what are referred to today as Gays or Homosexuals.

This is the ancient secret.

In the Book of Matthew, Jesus is discussing why some men choose not to marry.

He said there are Eunuchs made that way by men, which were the castrated.

He then said, some Eunuchs are born that way from their mothers womb.

Jesus was saying that to be homosexual is an act of nature.

You can read all the details including the scripture as well as the Roman Law at

Hi Bill ! I am sorry to say , but this "eunuch" definition of Jesus was not literally .HE was speaking about the Spirit in each human .The same has , when HE spoke so "chauvinistly" about women HE said in Thomas Gospel responding to Simon Peter:
« Simon Peter told Him :
Mary should be away from us , because females aren't worthy of Life .
Jesus answeared him :
Behold that I will guide her to make her a Man.
She will transform also in living spirit , similarly to you , Men .
Every female that turn to Man will enter the Kingdom of Heavens . »
This as nothing to do with sexual gender , and neither has the "eunuch" thing Jesus told us about . What HE meant was that anyone ,man or woman , a human beeing that whishes to enter the Kingdom of Heavens has to ( one way or another) be a "eunuch" , simbolically "cut"/"deny" his/her sexual organ/sexuality , or , most accurately , has to sublime his sexuality , to focus all his/her energy (kundalini) to go "upstairs"(Sahasra) or the Sanctum , or the Temple of the Father in each human beeing .
HE wasn't saying nothing literally , HE was not saying that men or women should or should not be married , as all(i think) the disciples were , but to be PURE about his/her sexuality .
Acts of Nature does not happen to happen . The Carma has its implications in each soul life and encarnations .What someone has done in the past will reflect in the future lives of the soul .Yes , we can see that are boys thar were born nowadays that since litle children felt and act has girls and vice -versa and that is "natural" in the Greater Sense of Carma Wisdom of God , but it is not Natural in the Real sense ... maybe these "gay" men and women, have in their past lives persecute other "gay" people and now they are experiencing the same persecution so that they can learn that we must (by the Law of Love and Compassion of our Wonderful Father)be compassionate about every living beeing in the Creation , without exception , and this , is what we (has Children of God ) must do from our hearts with everyone including "gay" people .
But, Jesus was not doing the apology of beeing "gay" ...He never condemned anyone , so to HIM all were part of the Creation of God , but beeing "gay" it is not at all a Natural choice of Nature , as all the male and female couples in Nature are a obvious demonstration .
Beeing "gay" it is a human choice... it was in the past lives of a soul or in the present life of a soul that his/her choice was made .
Either way , HE wasn't speaking literally about "eunuchs".

To Macieluxcitanic
Of course anyone can interpret the scripture as one desires. What Jesus is quoted as saying is exactly what the Roman law decreed at that time and Roman law ruled Israel. The scripture was written in Greek by Greek Hellenists who were very comfortable with homosexuality at that time. You state being gay is not a natural choice of nature. Neither are people being born blind, or with two heads, or attached to another person, or with mental defects. But people are electrical and chemical, and with that combination, things happen. Jesus just wanted people not to judge because they did not understanding that such things happen. I have no doubt that this scripture referred to Eunuchs as homosexuals, but as Jesus said in that scripture, not everyone will accept what he said.

Hello Bill;
With all due respect to you, I'd like to just clarify something about eunuchs. There is a THIRD option for being a eunuch and that is in deciding to become a eunuch "for the Kingdom of Heaven's sake". This is neither a casterated eunuch nor a natural eunuch ... rather, it is a "eunuch" who has decided to remain celibate for "the Kingdom of Heaven's sake".

I realize that you're surely aware of this, but I just felt the need to point this out.

Jesus said: (Mat 19:12) "For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: AND there be eunuchs, which have MADE THEMSELVES EUNUCHS FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN'S SAKE. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it."

In other words, there are people (Paramahansa Yogananda being a good example)who cannot fantom serving God whole heartily while, at the same time, bearing the responsibilities of married life. Heres also what the Bible says about it:

1Co 7:33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.

1Co 7:34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

1Co 7:35 And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

1Co 7:36 But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.

1Co 7:37 Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.

1Co 7:38 So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.

Hi, Bill! I'm so glad I came back for a visit to find you had started this blog feature. I've learned so much from you over the past few years and I'm grateful for the direction my life has taken because of it.

In this regard, (eunuchs) may I offer an alternative perspective?

Very few christians know this, because very few have experienced the "new birth" of scripture. (Let me state that I believe fervently that people all over the world from all backgrounds have, in their histories, this experience, regardless of "religion.")

But the new birth as judeo-christian scripture describes is an event. A "virgin" is one who has had this new birth, ("who had not known the defilement of women" and other such referrences).

A person who has been "born again," has, actually, been perfected. One of the results of the new birth is that one no longer desires sex.

If you will recall, the androgyn or the hermaphrodite is the symbol of the alchemical completion in a person. Leonardo DaVinci's famous painting of John the Divine, I believe, hints at this.

This is one of the meanings of what scripture calls "overcoming the flesh, overcoming the world, crucifying the flesh, etc."

The new birth happens after the person dies to his flesh and is baptized by the Holy Spirit. From that point on, that person can no longer sin because he has become a "child of the Light." He also can no longer physically have sex. By submitting to the inner teachings of Jesus, obeying His words, and receiving this powerful baptism, a person has "made themselves a eunuch for the sake of Jesus."

This is the Great Secret. One that all christians believe that they possess. But the majority of Jesus's followers have no clue what the salvation process entails. Thus, we see people coming home from church every Sunday believing themselves to be saved because of a prayer they said.

Well said, Angela ... I agree with you. Thank you for sharing.

Here is the problem. To prove Jesus was speaking literally about Eunuchs. First Jesus covered the Eunuchs who abstained from sex for religion in Matthew 19:12. Clement of Alexandria of that time, said, the true Eunuch is not one who cannot have sex with a woman but rather prefers not to. I also have a problem with using the word soul. That is actually a photon. It is electrical. The point also is that Christians have big problems with Gays, but Jesus never said one negative word about them and they were there at the time.
